Part payment plan – for 26/27 Practising Certificate fees

When paying for your Practising Certificate, you can choose to pay off your fees by spreading your payments throughout the year.

You must make an initial payment of $200.
You will then need to make regular monthly or quarterly payments

Monthly Payments: 10 payments of $55.90 to be made each month from July to April.
Quarterly Payments: 4 payments of $139.75 to be made in July, October, January and April.

How to make a part payment:

  1. Log into your MySWRB account.
  2. Go to your interactions tab.
  3. Select the invoice(s) you want to pay and add to cart.
  4. Edit the amount in your cart to what you want to pay.

Your final due date to pay off the remainder of your balance is 1 May 2027.

Note this payment plan will be discontinued on 1 May 2027 and will not be available for future years.

If your employer intends to pay

Authorised Employers:

If you are connected to an authorised employer you won’t be prompted to pay.
Your employer will be directly invoiced once you submit your renewal/application.
If you aren’t connected you need to talk with your employer before you submit.

All other employers:

If your employer is not an authorised employer, they cannot be invoiced.
You will need to pay from within your MySWRB account directly.
Ask your employer if you can use a company card to pay.
Speak to your employer about reimbursement (you can download your receipt from your MySWRB interactions tab).

Remember, you are responsible for ensuring your own fees are paid, even if your employer has agreed in principle to pay.

Additional Info

  • Authorised Employers must connect you to their account, you cannot connect yourself.
Have your employer email us if you need to be connected.
Contact us if you want to be disconnected; you will not be able to disconnect yourself.
  • If Winz / MSD are paying your fees they normally pay us directly, please confirm payment with them before you submit your renewal/application; it may appear as a credit on your account.
  • Part payment plans are only available for individuals paying Practising Certificate fees (which includes the disciplinary levy).
  • Once an initial payment is made, you will need to pay off the remaining balance yourself.
  • We cannot bill a remaining balance to another party (eg even if you join an Authorised Employer later in the year).
  • If you have a Practising Certificate debt on your account from a previous year, you may be blocked from renewing again until this debt is cleared.
  • If you default on your debt, referral to a collection agency may also be considered.
