Have you completed one of the Social Workers Registration Board’s (SWRB) recognised qualifications in the last two years?
Want to know how to become registered? Then look no further for the answers.
The application process to become a registered social worker is an online process, whether you are applying for provision or full registration.
The first step is to go online and complete the application by answering the questions about yourself and your social work qualification.
Once you have completed the online process, you will then receive an email listing all the documents you are required to submit to our office. How you answer the questions, will determine what documents are required for your application.
Please note, everyone who wants to apply to become a registered social worker completes the same process online. Please click here to take you to the application process page.
The online application process has a set of guide notes which are important to read while you are completing the application. You will need to submit various documents after you complete the online application and most of these documents will need to be certified. The email you receive at the end you tell you what needs to be certified.
You will also need to undergo a Full Police check.
The application fee is $345.00, this is an application fee for processing your application whether it is a provisional application or not. Once you are registered there is an annual fee of $368.00
